We chose this hotel to visit the Harley Davidson Festival for a weekend. From the minute we arrived we had a great time. The staff and owners were so welcoming and made us feel at home at once. As it was during the festival there were a lot of bikers staying adding a warm and friendly ambiance to our stay. We enjoyed wonderful massages - a very big thank you to the masseuse, so lovely and generous in her way of relaxing us both. If you go to this hotel make sure you book some massages! The food from breakfast, lunch to dinner was so good that we ended up eating at the hotel most of our stay. The best club sandwich I've had in a LONG time! Great mojitos too! We wanted a restful weekend and being slightly higher up from the town we were able to be near at the same time (10 minutes walk and across the bridge) and far enough to be away from the Festival crowd. We spent afternoons by the pool, enjoyed the spa - we recommend this hotel and would love to return. We would also like to try a ski holiday one day. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay!

We did not stay at the hotel but visited on two occasions to enjoy the spa facilities. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming and on another visit to Morzine we would like to stay in the hotel. The pools are delightful and we wish to particularly praise the spa manager Petra. She is charming, has a lovely smile and is an excellent masseuse.

To be honest, i had zero expectations from this hotel. But we loved everything about it. It's a family run chalet situated 10 minutes away from the main street in Morzine, and you can actually feel the owner's touch in everything the hotel has to offer. The breakfast is the best i ever had, with all of the ingredients being sourced locally. The rooms are beautiful, clean and ours had a nice little balcony. I would definitely return

Le Dahu is a mountain mythical creature with one leg longer than the other so he can only go around the mountain one way!

A lovely family hotel that has been going for 60 years. Charming owner and staff - very welcoming. Rooms are very pretty alpine, there was no tea or coffee making facility in our room, which is strange for a 4star hotel. The swim pool is small but clean - the water was a little cool for my liking.
Breakfast was acceptable - as another reviewer has noted, there was an enticing selection of breads and cakes but not much change in the week except what went with the (tepid) scrambled eggs. The evening meals looked lovely on the menu but we did not eat in as we like to go out to sample the variety and just craic of the town.

However the main drawback is that the building is on the wrong side of the valley. There is a free minibus to either of the two main lifts every 10 mins in the morning and then less frequently through the day - but you have to book your seat on it. Plus in the evening the bus is chargeable.
There are ski lockers available to hire for 10Euro a day at the bottom of Pleney lift. Or Felix ski has free storage for customers who hire their skis.

The skiing is the main problem. The Morzine ski area is not properly connected to the Portes Du Soleil. It is necessary to come down to the town and either catch the free bus to Avoriaz or get on the little mini train which will take you to Super Morzine cable car. So far that reason I would advise staying here although it is charming and welcoming - it is expensive and inconvenient. Try Avoriaz instead.

We stayed here on our first skiing trip in Morzine and it was just perfect. The staff were helpful (and allowed us a cheeky bit of extra time in the jacuzzi after closing hours) and the breakfast was lovely.

Really great views, so relaxing and the room was big but still very cosy! The only issue we had was a lot of noise under our room (we were above the kitchen I think) but aside from that, would definitely recommend.

Room tip: 1st floor may be a bit noisy
