We have just spent a week in Chalet Beaumont and I can honestly say that with over 10 years of staying in chalets, it was the best holiday we have had. The chalet itself is lovely, you really feel in the mountains (great views!) but it's only a few minutes from Morzine centre. They have a minibus that takes up to and from the lifts in the morning and afternoon and Richie was really flexible with our pickup times.
The staff were fantastic, Richie, Nadine, Mary and Jamie went out of their way for us throughout the week. Richie took us on a fab guiding day on the mountain which we really enjoyed because we hadn't been to the area before and it meant we covered a much larger area than we would if we had been on our own.
However, main thing that did it for us was the cooking, Mary's food was absolutely first class. Every day we had delicious cakes waiting for us back at the chalet, and each evening meal was superb. This was not your average chalet food, the mix of different styles and using lots of flavours set the food apart from other good chalets we have stayed in the past (the Thai pork with cardamom rice was our favourite!!)
Thank you for a fantastic week, we will definitely be back again.
