This restaurant was recommended by my son , who worked a season lat year in the area. My wife and I ended up eating her twice , the portions are huge , so unless you're very hungry share a first course .we had a trio of duck , the pate was divine. The cassoulet was fantastic , beautifully cooked with a local sausage , bacon and a confit duck leg that was superb . My wife had a lamb shank , cooked perfectly so it melted in your mouth . On our second visit , we shared a warm pigeon breast salad to start , pigeon was beautiful , pink and moist , my wife had the confit of duck , and it was the best I've tasted anywhere , I had a fillet steak , as my son said they were the best , he wasn't wrong , it was one of the best I've had in a long time , the waitress was very happy when I asked for it " blue " . An excellent local red went down superbly as well , service was immaculate and as its slightly of the main drag , prices are lower 24€ for a steak , and a total with coffees and calvados 85€ . If you are in Morzine and want a great meal then this is the place , we ate out 6 of the 7 nights we were there and this stood out . Find the local Carrefour and it next door
