I stayed at the Rectory Farm on the evening of the 3 April. Overall an excellent place to stay for a short visit to Cambridge. Set in 50 acres of grounds - gives a taste of the English countryside but very conveniently located.
Rooms are smart and well equipped for short stays. No evening food although there is a honesty bar and snacks. Breakfast is available at extra cost. I stayed in ouside location which was a very new building. The apartment came at a very reasonable price and had everything I needed. A pub at Coton a ten minute drive away provides evening food with a good selection at a fair price.
Cambridge is not a friendly place for a driver and you are best advised to tour the City on foot or by bus. Rectory Farm is within 15 minutes by car to the City centre but parking your car in the City will cost you a lot - £26 for a day in the centre. But Rectory Farm is within minutes of a park and ride place which runs an efficient bus service back and to the sites.
Would I stay again - yes I would.
