“Beautiful Building, Great Location, Excellent Food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2009

Attended a wedding recently and the Weston Manor is a brilliant location for such an occcasion. Fantastic grounds and a lovely main dining hall. The room was very good possibly only let down by the lack of hot water in the morning (in defence of the management they offered a discount). The food can only be described as excellent, the full English Breakfast is brilliant. Unfortunately the only real problem was with the Bar, after paying £5.60 for two drinks during the day the price unexplicably went up to £7.75 for the same two drinks in the evening. When queried the barman became quite defensive and couldnt explain beyond "I'm the barman and this is the price" Very disappointing.

What a little gem! We booked the night before arrival and were given a free upgraded room within the manor (thanks to a very friendly and helpful Mohammed). The hotel is close to Oxford and great value for money. The rooms are a little tired, but you cant complain based on the price. The dining room is amazing (very grand and full of character) and the breakfast is high quality, cooked to order and well presented. The price of this hotel is similar to the Travelodge in the area - but I would stay here over the Travelodge any day. The place is full of charm and character and you even get a lovely breakfast thrown in! There is also a lovely pub within walking distance if you dont fancy dining within the hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed here this year, it offers fantastic value for money we were upgraded to a room overlooking the lovely garden. The food in the restaurant was excellent and deserves to be much busier. We look forward to our next stay

Stayed a night at the Weston Manor, the hotel looks impressive from the outside but the room was very grubby! We were given a room which is away from the main house which we felt could previously be a servant quarter. The room is small, carpets were thread bare and holey! The furniture and deco are so out-dated. Curtains didnt meet in the middle. No duvet just grotty blankets! No shower facilities just a bath tub with a shower hose. Do not stay in room B. (A-D are in the cottage away from the main house but we cannot comment on other rooms).
Overall disappointing stay.

Stayed overnight on business, this is a typical old country hotel with history, pleasant surroundings, unfortunately there wasn't a lift, so anything than an overnight bag, you're struggling!
The shower in my room wasn't that good, and you had to run around to get wet..., helpful staff, although they're not geared up for the business traveller, although they were helpful the next day, you couldn't settle the bill late the previous night.
