“Stunning scenery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

Had a lovely day out here with the family.

Lovely walks although a little steep and narrow in places, but well worth the walk.

Children loved it and have already asked to back to play by the river.

Only found the place by accident and can't believe it is just a few miles from home. Will go back to complete further walks to find the other waterfalls.

“Roar of Water.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014

Visited 4/4/2014.Parked next to toilets in Pontneddfechan and walked with our dog along the waymarked path to Sgwd Gwadlus(Lady's Falls). It is easy walking but is not suitable for the elderly and not for wheelchairs. There is the continuous rushing of water over small cascades, sometimes well below you and other times next to you.The mosses hang heavy on the trees like curtains.Once you get to the top bridge and turn left you can hear the sound of a waterfall. The river was low and exposed a gravel bank in front of the waterfall so we were able to stand on it and take photos. If you turn right at the bridge it takes you further up the valley to more waterfalls.Thats for another day.there is an information centre in Pontneddfechan but it was not open. There are three public houses; The Angel,The White Horse and The Dinas all within 50 yards.Stout footware or wellies are essential.

“Fantastic walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

Just returned from the waterfalls walk and it is very much worth a visit. Quite easy walking alongside a lovely river through the gorge - even for a couple of middle aged unfit people like us!!! It really is a very pretty walk and well worth a couple of hours of anyones time. We visited the closest waterfall where you can walk behind. Others are a little further on.
We tried to get in The Angel for lunch, looks lovely and smelt even better. We asked for a table for two and were told no, not even a 'have a drink at the bar and we can have one in 20 mins' .

“SUPERB WALK TO FALLS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

Park at the angel public house, lush food and very friendly. the information centre will give you an idea of where the walk starts down the side of the pub. Quiet, glorious, mystical. Even in the rain it was lovely, make a wish....you never know !!!
Suitable footwear a must, respect nature its a beautiful walk and worth every step.
