“Nature Treasure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

Trinidad as many hidden natural treasures and Yerette is one. A Couple opened their home to Trinidad's many spices of Hummingbirds and to the public. The house sits on a hill with a nice view .. access is not an issue as your tour bus or car will take you practically to the kitchen door. My tour was arranged by a friend so i do'n know the cost. Light refreshment and lunch was included in the cost. Your very knowledgeable introduction begins on the front porch but you may be distracted by the sound of the beating wings of the many hummingbirds around the porch. If you sit to the edge of the porch some fly right across our face, it was awesome. You are treated to a short film and pictures taken by the owner of the birds in his yard. Because of the close quarters of this experience I would not recommend taking babies or young kids that cant sit still for long periods. All in all a very very good learning and close up experience. Walk with cash to purchase one of the many beautiful photos of the hummingbirds. A high speed camera is needed to capture the birds as they are very quick and constantly in flight.

“And more hummingbirds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

What a fascinating couple who love the hummingbirds. Theo was a real enthusiast who gave us all the facts about the birds. The children were enthralled by it all. The photos/video of the birds was a wee bit long but such wonderful photos. Drinks and cakes etc provided also.

“Yerette hummingbird sanctury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

An excellent opportunity to get up close to hummingbirds and be amazed by the facts about these tiny creatures. Theo and his wife are excellent hosts with Theo imparting facts beyond comprehension and his wife providing lovely refreshments (included in price). All this + a delightful setting, Theo's stunning photography and a much deeper appreciation of the birds makes this a must for all visitors to Trinidad.

“Hummingbirds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

So, many hummingbirds !!! the sound and activity is overwhelming. Taking a photo was difficult and so I took a video....seeing it now that I am home...I still find it all amazing. The owner,Theo does have a slide show that he likes everyone to watch. It is informative and would be better if a little shorter and showed on arrival. You do learn about hummingbirds but are anxious to get back out to watch the birds.

“Humming Bird Ambassadors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

My family this past week had a trip of a lifetime to not only see the many species of hummingbirds but to be delightfully informed about the many characteristics of our own hummingbird. I would highly recommend this trip not only for foreigners but for many of my fellow Trinidadians, Theo and his spirited wife Gloria are not just hosts but more storytellers with vast amount of experiences pertaining to this unique and amazing bird. My family and I recommend this most tranquil destination as a recommended STOP whilst being in Trinidad & Tobago.
