“The best b&b we have ever stayed in.”

You are greeted with the best of welsh and new zealand hospitality. The accomodation is excellent and every detail is ticked. The views are amazing.

The food is excellent and a wide range of foods offered. Alot of work goes into presentation and the toast even comes out in a basket covered by a warm tea towel...amazing, you feel completly pampered.
After a hard cold mtb ride we were greeted with homemade cakes, hot tea and a log burner! Heaven! We have been back a few time which we never do. The living area attached makes you feel like you are in an old cottage with the luxury of modern amenities.

We travel around the country alot and this is the BEST b&b we have evet stayed in.

Room Tip: Fantastic view and quiet location.

After hiking through the Clwydian Range on our Offa's Dyke trip, we couldn't have found a nicer place to rest than Rhesgoed Isa Cottage! Tucked away on a farm just down the hill from Clwyd Gate, Isa Cottage offers a complete suite to yourself! We had our own bedroom and living room with fantastic views of the valley down towards Ruthlin. Our host, Karyn, greeted us with tea and cakes and chatted with us about the B&B and surrounding area. She's originally from New Zealand, her husband from this area, and they purchased the B&B a few years ago. They've done a great job and made the place into a very comfortable, welcoming B&B. Karen was also very helpful in driving us to a pub for our evening meal. Our breakfast was fantastic .. lots of fresh fruit ( including Kiwi of course), home cooked porridge and tasteful main dishes.Karyn is very sweet and took great effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We certainly felt that and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A great packed lunch was also the hightlight of our midday break! Relaxing and enjoyable .. what more can you ask for! Thanks Karyn ... and good luck with your expansion ideas!

We stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke. Karyn, our host, was so welcoming. She produced tea and carrot cake on arrival and then offered either that we eat at the local pub, or at home. She was making a chicken dish for the family, followed by fruit tart - we were welcome to have some. As the accomodation was a bedroom, bathroom and our own sitting room with comfortable seating, tv and dvd, our answer was obvious. It was enhanced when we were offered a glass of wine with dinner! Breakfast was another feast with the best fruit platter of our 2 week holiday.A lovely place to stay

I found this B&B on the web whilst looking for a place to stay in December in Wales. Rhesgoed Isa Cottage was one of the best stays we have ever had in a B&B. Jane the owner is a lovely host and had thought of everything we could ever need or want. The log fires were burning in every room to give a wonderful cosy feeling throughout the house. The decor is comfortable and tasteful and the food is amazing. The position of the house is an ideal base for any trip. The views are lovely from every window. This B&B will not disappoint you as the host thinks of everything possible to ensure that you enjoy your stay from start to finish.
