We were recommended Lazy Beach by a friend and it exceeded expectations! The beach really was stunning - bright, white sand, a rickety dock, water so clear you could see the bottom of the sea even when it was shoulder high, beautiful sunsets... There were often moments when you felt like you were the only people on the beach, or even the island - a real getaway. The staff were extremely friendly and the chill out area with swinging chairs, board games, books etc was spacious and comfortable. There is even a volleyball area, badminton net and snorkeling masks if you don't want to be too lazy.
Food was amazing - have the Choc Cok alcoholic milkshake and homemade crisps - and a mix of Asian and Western dishes to suit all tastes. You can even order seafood to be caught for your dinner.
Our only hiccup was that our mosquito net had a lot of holes in (bungalow 8) which meant that between the mosquitos and the sand flies we were bitten to shreds. Definitely take some anti-histamine cream and trainers so you're not always exposing your feet to the creatures in the sand and possibly take your own mosquito net.
Suggestion for the resort: As the price has gone up to $50 it would be good if the place had a better mosquito net and maybe a battery-operated fan in the room. This would make it cooler as the heat at night is quite intense, and deter mozzies simultaneously making the accommodation still rustic but a bit more comfortable.
Still highly recommend this beautiful place...a real island paradise if ever there was one!
