Great setting looking over the ocean with friendly staff amazing seafood. Location is a big thing here as the restaurant has prime position overlooking the beach below. Food tastes fresh, comes in good portions and there is a good variety. Reasonably priced and service is excellent.

“A bit crowded but still gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

Coqueirinho... you have changed, but you charm is till there. Myself and wife (locals living overseas) took an European couple for a tour around the beaches and guess what: they didn't want to leave Coqueirinho. I saw a review (@WongBrazil) complaining about the color of the water (yellowish) and the sun (how can you go to the beach and complain about the sun?). You have to check the season before going. Water temperature is awesome all year long, but around the Summer it gets a clear green tone which is fantastic. When coming down the cliff, you can either go to the right (find a comfortable bar and hotel structure and awesome canyons) and/or left (bars are humble but THIS is what keeps this place so good with a cosy little bay). The access is a bit harder, parking is difficult, but you got to stay here for at least 4 hours, enjoy its peace, before making a review. I love this place and so does everyone I take there.

“Pria bonito”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Really beautiful, rustic beach with tan sand and coconut palms.....worth the drive from J.P. Rent a car to see Pria Bella, Tambuba, etc. Canyon Restaraunt while a bit pricey was well worth it....great food, good service, phenomenal views....

“Horrible beach”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

Don't waste your time in this deserted beach. It was really hot and we had to stay under an umbrella to get protected from the heat. Further the tour sold by the tour agent obliged us to visit 3 beaches in a role and we could hardly bare one beach. The water is nothing blueish nor greenish. It was yellowish. After one hour in this beach we decided to leave the group by calling a taxi from the neighbourhood and went back to the city. If you are in Joao Pessoa why not spend your precious time in the beach around the city.
