“Great little hotel in a small Black Sea coastal town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2012

We had a great experience at Yali Otel. We were there for just one evening and a morning. The staff was very friendly. Definitely was willing to take time to help us plan our day and pick out some great sites to go and visit. We might have been the only guests at the hotel but had a great breakfast prepared for us. Some of it was freshly cooked when we came down. While it isn't anything fancy it was a great place and a really good price.

If we are back in Cide we will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The balconies and views on the sea side of the hotel are great.

First off all, the small town Cide is gem in the middle of nature and they not commercialized in tourism activities.

I had stayed in this reasonable priced hotel last summer in a family atmosphere. The owners of the hotel were very helpful for planning our visit to Ilgarini Cave (4th biggest in the world) and Aydos Canyon and trails. There is no administrative building in the park and no facilities available for visitors. You definitely need local’s help to visit Ilgarini and Aydos Natural Park. (no entry fee)

Rooms and the other facilities of the hotel are clean with the very nice Black Sea view.
Homemade breakfast and food was quite good in the hotel’s restaurant, however, you must also try a small fish restaurant in Gideros Bay for dinner.

Small kids of the town were very friendly, trying to practice their English, German and French with us. Hospitality for foreigners was amazing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a Black Sea view

I spent several stays in this hotel during my last travels in Turkey. I have always appreciated the quality of my stays in Yali Otel.
The hotel is located in the small port of the city and is quiet compared to other hotels of the main road. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable.
And do not forget the kitchen of Fatma Hanim and discuss with all members of this Turkish family who knows what the meaning of hospitality means.
