“Best smorgasboard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Have visited this restaurant on several occassions. We always go for Sunday lunch because of the great buffet. The food is a mixture of traditional Greek and non Greek. There is a huge variety of both cold and hot dishes. Last Sunday we had the choice of different styles of Chicken, Fish, Pork, Lamb and Beef as well as a variety of vegetables. The Greek style cabbage marinated in lemon juice in the cold food section is an absolute winner. We have now made this restaurant our first choice, especially for occassions such as birthdays and family gatherings. The dessert area also has a good selection of sweets. My favourite is the Creme Caramel and Chocolate Mouse. They also have an ice cream machine too. We all love this buffet as everything is freshly cooked and not stodgy. There is a huge variety to suit all tastes, including vegetarians. The views looking out onto the river with the boats of the yacht club are also a huge bonus.

“Wonderful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

This venue wad recommended as somewhere for a meal, and I was skeptical for a Greek buffet. However I was suprised at the food, staff service and the atmosphere. The buffet was constantly monitored by staff, and always kept clean, and full of food. It is well worth the effort to travel here for a wonderful meal.

“For a buffet this is not what you expect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We ended up here after seeing a friend facebook tagged here one night, asked her what it was like and she said great. We booked as early as we could as we have a todler, even after opening it took about 25 min for the hot food to come out but our waitrress was great and drawing equiptment (thats wasn't all blunt!) was quickly provided.
I have eaten at a buffet in over 5 years because they generally arent a nice experience but this place is different not the same old dishes and a great seafood selection, So glad our friend reccomended this place, dinning out with a todler isn't normally easy but being able to provide her with a selection of foods to try was great

“Fantastic buffet - magnificent variety... much more than the norm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

You get a bit jaded with buffet meals; it all seems to be the same and often there is a very good reason why its "all you can eat" - basically because its so unexciting that you dont want to consume all that much of it. We had a 6pm booking on a Saturday night, with three children in our party. Great setting, right on the water. When you drive into the car park the place looks a bit tawdry - but ahhh what delights lie within. The food - superb! Best variety of buffet we can remember - and thank God, not just the same boring variety of "salads" which look wilted and on death watch - but multiple vibrant, tasty mediteranian types. Yum. Mains - great assortment to cater for seafood/meat/chicken lovers and the deserts - so much more than the average fare offered at your usual buffet meal. Panacotta, lemon meringue pie, brulee, trifle, fresh fruit salald, to name a few. At $45 a head tonight, great value and a good experience. They also have belly dancers and plate smashing about 9pm-ish, but with three kids in tow we couldnt wait that long - although the look of the belly dancers arriving in costume did have us trying to keep the children behaving decently for as long as it took - but not long enough.

“Lots of Yummy Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

We were part of a very large family group who visited the restaurant this week, for the very first time. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful in both variety and quantity. The waitresses were very efficient in clearing used plates which is a must at smorgasbord venues. They were also friendly and courteous at all times, with a smile. The only downside that could be mentioned is the price of beers which is over the top at $9/10 per stubbie. We will certainly return again as we all enjoyed the experience but intake of alcoholic drinks will be limited.
