My friends & I stayed over New Years just gone and it was one of my friend's 50th birthday and they made it very special for her, by baking a cake, having champagne for us. It was all the small touches that made the difference.
Stewart and Judith were very accommodating and made the stay as homely as possible and just let us be. We naturally didn't want breakfast early on New Years Day, ad they were absolutely fine with that, Breakfast was fabby, croissants, jam, plus a full cooked breakfast, including a veggie option for some of my friends and even ample ketchup and brown sauce for my sausages!! All I had to do was just ask. My friend asked for peanut butter and there it was at breakfast. The rooms are nicely decorated with attaching shower in one room and a bath and separate shower in another room.
The living room area adjoining the bedrooms could have been our own living rooms, with flat screen tvs, coffee machine, Ipod docking system and a mini fridge! Everything was well thought out, making a stay even better than expected with great views from the living room.
