“But but a tad dated”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2012

Bowling, beer and family fun in Big Bear. This an older (aren't they all now) facility which is a nice break from the outdoors. The lanes are decent, service fine and the beer cold but the facility itself is a bit creaky. The sports bar is pretty limited and don't even think about the food. With that said we had a fun time and would return.

“Fun night out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

While in Big Bear we always make a point to spend one evening at The Bowling Barn. We usually use the coupon in the local free paper "Buy 2 games get one free." This year we decided to rent a lane for 2 hours instead. It actually was cheaper to do it this way. We got 2 games in 2 hours and won free games with our good luck spins (you get a spin when you knock down 9 pins or more with your first ball). We ended up bowling 3 games each, just enough for all of us to have a lot of fun. We look forward to this every year when visiting the snow.
