We had our 15 days South Western USA road trip on October 2012. By the time that we reached Big Bear Lake, we have seen the greatest view, including the Pacific Ocean great shades of blue and the magnificent sunset and sunrise at Grand Canyon. I thought I have covered everything that I wanted to see in this trip, and Big Bear Lake is there to make a great finale for my trip!
We drove from Las Vegas, cross the desert, and arrived at Big Bear Lake around 4pm. We are amazed by the pretty autumn colour and decided to stay by the lake. We surveyed around and finally decided to stay ay Big Bear Frontier because the front desk clerk is very friendly and helpful.
We stayed at a Studio Cabin #26, and it is awesome. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, and I love the fireplace. The room is very cozy and I bet it must be a great weekend getaway on winter. Our cabin is just a stone throw away from the lake, so we could have our breakfast by the lake. Our cabin is also not too far away from the lobby, so we can walk to the lobby to enjoy the free wifi.
I had a wonderful, peaceful morning by the lake. I woke up early, wrap myself with everything I can find, and sitting in the dawn waiting for the lake to turn into golden dreamy memory. The ducks and birds are my only companion and I love it!
