We have been here twice now as we like to support local businesses especially one with a scratch kitchen. We have always been happy with the flavours of the foods here.... But the execution hasn't yet impressed us. The first time we came the lamb shank was lacking, it was bland and needed just that extra bit if flavour. Both Times we had a pizza and both times it was just too soggy for us. The outer crust was definitely crispy but the sauce just made it soggy... When you pick it up it was completely limp. I would suggest a couple minutes in the pizza oven for just the dough in order to crisp it up then add the toppings so the dough doesn't remain 'raw' and soggy in middle under the toppings. Meatballs and pasta special had great flavour but the noodles were just outside al dente and needed a few extra minutes cooking time. I would like to try out breakfast here and we will try dinner one more time as we really like the idea behind this restaurant but are definitely waiting to be wowed.
