A great zoo to visit, if you are around.
The settings of the zoo itself is very nice: it is very green and clean, and the animals live in a very spacious area for each, and most look like they are in their natural wild environment. Most animals are not a cage, but in large hardly fenced spaces.
The kids would love the various animals – from wolves, bears and deer to farm animals up to turtles.
As someone already wrote here – don’t expect here safari-like exotic animals like lions, tigers and elephants, but rather typical European animals.
Take into account this this is a big area, and requires at least two hours to cover – probably even more.
One nice bonus there is the Senses trails, in which you can walk bare footed on different types of textures.
It can be a nice visit if you are staying at the near Center Parcs - Domaine des Trois Forets, and want go out of the park for a short while.
One tip: there is a restaurant there, which is very good and clean, but don’t expect usual tourists fast-food there – it is more of local typical food
