“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

I have come back from a trip to Hoghton tower with my year 4 class. All I can say is WOW! Anona (the trip organiser) made us feel so welcome and the children were entertained as well as educated by the fantastic tour guides from start to finish.
From the dressing up to the interesting bedrooms, the tudor dancing, knighting in the banquet hall and a lovely lunch sat out on the beautiful grounds, the children were kept busy and interested all day!
My year 4's were so excited to tell their parents about their day, and in their words it was 'the best school trip ever!' We will definitely be coming again. Thank you for such a wonderful day!

Have visited several times but for the Farmers markets. Wonderful array of local food . Small charge to,park and the car park can be very muddy in bad weather.

“School Trip to Hoghton Tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

A fabulous day was had by all the children (65 of them!) and all the school staff!! The trip was informative and educational, fun and exciting. All the children throughly enjoyed it. They wore costumes and especially loved the dungeons and being knighted by the king! Facilities were good; toilets and a big room where we could all eat lunch together. There was a large courtyard were the children had chance to run around. Anona, Richard and Barbara were excellent hosts and we will be visiting again next year! Would certainly recommend Hoghton Tower, without hesitation, to other school parties.
NB - Wrap up warm - it's absolutely freezing!! But a small price to pay for such a great day!
