“Great large hotel rooms and free parking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2014

We stayed for a short weekend away from Sydney. It was a nice big bright room with a huge bed and great facilities in the room - kitchen and laundry. We got a great deal for $99 with wine! Amazing. Only two down points is the shower pressure was abysmal, and there was only one of lots of things - chair, glass, bowl, spoon. Easy parking across street, will be even better then the hotel cafe opens.

Easy access to the city and attractions. Self contained room - cooking/washing/drying/dishwasher, but the "fairies" come in and tidy up while you are out. No noise. Parking available. A couple of clubs within walking distance for reasonable eat-out meals. Shopping centre a hop, skip and jump.
Individual room control of air conditioning.

Room Tip: Glass runs up a section - I think all floors middle of the front, view to a distance from Floor 9 a...

Very clean, appropriate room temperature, friendly, professional staff.

The rooms are comfortable and smartly designed.

The check in and out is simple and easy.

I would always come back here- Thank you!

This is a modern boutique hotel that appeared to offer much but delivered mediocrity except for the service that was excellent. Check in was quick and pleasant. The studio room on L5 had an outlook facing a brick wall so we kept the drapes closed at all times. The room was modern and whilst it only had one chair for a double room, curiously it also had a washing machine/dryer.
No on site restaurant but a novel self serve basic breakfast items etc.
Perhaps the major disappointment was the absence of on site parking but the hotel is opposite a big public car cark with pay parking fees that apply from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Mon - Fri at $1.50 p/hr. We needed to go down to feed the meter before 8.30 am to avoid being booked by the parking inspectors who we were told are quite voracious.
The hotel is within easy walking distance to Westfield Woden shopping centre and to the Hellenic Club where the food is great.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms with brick wall outlook

This relatively new hotel is a converted office block and retains the industrial chic feel. It is not quite finished yet so it was minus a cafe. However, you could buy essentials in the lobby so you could prepare a simple meal in the large, spacious and well appointed rooms.
It is situated about a ten minute drive from the centre of Canberra.
It had everything - microwave, cooktop and oven, washing machine/dryer, large accessible bathroom, sitting and eating space and a good view across to the hills.
It is situated next door to a shopping mall and a bus station, opposite a community car park.
My only criticism would be that there was no place to pull in for loading and unloading which was inconvenient.

Very well appointed modern apartment, tastefully decorated. The apartment was immaculate,
in fact the appliances were like new.
The bedding was extremely comfortable.
The location is brilliant, very close to Woden Bus Exchange and just past that is Westfield Shopping Centre.
Parking is available in the car park opposite at a cost of $9.00 per day , and is free on the weekends.
Across the car park is the Hellenic Club if you are looking to dine out , however other restaurants are open at the front of Westfield Shopping Centre.

We stayed here for a week in a studio room and gave my brother a king studio as a birthday present. We were both very happy with this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and you can make breakfast or heat a meal in a mircowave. My brother had a cooktop and made dinner a few times. His room was much bigger than ours and had a good view. We looked to a brick wall. There was a washing/dryer in room. Parking was free over night and over weekend which was a bonus. There is small shop in foyer for breakfast and dinner products and a restaurant is on its way. It is right over road from Hellenic Club where we dined several times. Shopping, eating and bus are all a few minutes walk away. Book online and you get free wifi. Friendly staff on desk.
