Stayed in this accommodation for one night only. We were made welcome on arrival and shown to our room which was very spacious. I'd asked for a twin room overlooking the parking area (I'd a dog in the car overnight) and this is what I got except the room had a double and single bed - very spacious. The facilities in the room are equal to, if not better, than some hotels - flat screen tv, trouser press, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water and toiletries (soap, shower gel/shampoo, shower cap, sewing kit, shoe shine). Any rooms I seen were spacious, very clean and tidy and immacuately decorated. There seemed to be someone on reception in the hallway most of the time so help was available if needed. Breakfast was ordered the night before, served between 7 - 10 am and the selection was really good. Salmon, scrambled eggs, smoked fish, full irish breakfast, continental breakfast plus the usual - toast, fruit, cereals and tea/coffee/juice. The outside space was very nice - no lawns but ample parking and all landscaped with water features and was a sun trap - very nice to sit in on a warm evening. The gueshouse is about a 10 minute walk to Carlow town centre or about a 2 minute drive. Highly recommended.
