“Brilliant Weekend.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Stayed here for Wknd while attending A First Communion in the town. We have stayed here before & as always The Hotel & its Staff surpassed all our expectations. Special mention to Gina at Reception, Willie Night Porter & Clare in The Restaurant who went way beyond the bounds of Duty to make sure we were really well looked after. The Hotel is so welcoming & Dinner was beautiful, Rooms were perfect, & when ours was very cold, we were given A Heater @ 2am. We just love it here & will return as soon as possible.

Room Tip: Rooms on Ground Floor beside Leisure Centre are so handy. No Lifts or Stairs.

Stayed here for a girls night out in Carlow. Hotel s nice and located to the centre of town. Reservation was made quick and easy. Checked in and out with Gina, lovely girl nice and friendly. Even remember us the next morning. Rooms are a bit of a walk, only thing I didn't like was there was blankets in the room and not duvets. Breakfast the ext morning was fine, good enough selection. Overall an enjoyable stay.

We spent a long weekend in the south eat of Ireland and chose this hotl on the merits of its high ranking on tripadvisor. What a great choice it turned out to be! It had everything we wanted and more. It was a surprisingly big and well run hotel despite being in a smallish (by my standards) town (Carlow). My Danish friend finally married his irish girlfriend and the weding was a hugh success, due to the hotels attention to detail. Highly recconmended.

The Seven Oaks was our base for the Pan Cheilteach Ceatharlach 2013.and we were made most welcome by all members of the hotel staff. They had such a lot to put up with the Scots and Welsh participants of the Pan Celtic . The food was of the highest standard and the waiting and bar staff were every smiling despite some of the odd customers. The room that we had was spacious and very comfortable We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and hope that everyone enjoys it as much as we did. Hopefully it will not be too long before the Pan Celtic returns to Carlow

Stayed here for `pan Celtic `2013. April 2nd -7th We arrived very tired and I was stressed to find the room didnt have suitable facilities. My husband has MS , he uses a wheelchair. When I told the Manager we couldnt manage without a shower chair and handrails, he called the handy man John, who quickly installed handrails for us, and a shower chair was obtained. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had absolutly everything we needed to make our holiday great. The beds were so comfortable and spotless clean, all staff were very friendly and helpful. I also loved the lesuire facilities. We will definately stay here again. Highly recommended.
Thank you all staff and Management

Room Tip: I would advise any one who has a problem with facilities to talk to reception. If they dont know you...

13 of us stayed here last weekend for my sister's hen party and it's the best hotel in Ireland without a doubt. First off compliments to Aisling Holden on Reception. We chopped and changed the rooms about 50 times and each time the response was polite and friendly and no hassle. The bedrooms are super clean and nicely furnished. We had a group dinner at the hotel and the food was of excellent quality and more importantly served with a smile which you seldom get with big groups. It is possible to walk to Scraggs Alley bar from the hotel but we chose on taxis and again they were so helpful in arranging for us. The most amazing thing of the night was when we returned from the town, there was a manager on duty on the door who asked us all one by one as we came back if we wanted a toasted ham and cheese sandwich .... at 2 in the morning, where in Ireland would you get that kind of service. Breakfast is also worth mentioning because you could have it served to your room and what's more, there was nobody watching the clock for when breakfast finished at 11am. If you wanted another sausage, the most friendly chef serving would cook you one. Loved this hotel and will definitely be back. Thanks so much to everybody at Seven Oaks for making it the best weekend ever.
