“Very disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Stayed at Sidcot Premier Inn recently and was allocated room 3, which is a very tired room in the old part of the hotel. The room is badly in need of updating and the bathroom was awful. The new rooms may have been better though. Hotel kindly honoured the money back guarantee.

Stopped here on way back from Airport. Arrived at midnight, Very efficient in booking in. Room clean and comfortable. Great place to stop on way to or from Airport, and good value. Had breakfast before we left in the morning which was excellent. Would certainly use again if flying from Bristol Airport.

Generally a very good place to stay especially if flying from Bristol Airport. About 20 minute drive barring holdups from traffic or floods. Major floods and rain over night and next morning. Roads almost impassabl. Food good value and a reasonable choice generally but we chose a meal deal which had a limited choice at not a hugh saving. Free wifi only 30 minutes and NO mobile signal at all. We had an emergency call to make and could only get a signal at the end of their drive and it was tipping it down.Bed was a liitle too hard for us and does not help poor joints.

This was an overnight stop off on our way to Cornwall.Reception was poorly signed but once we had found it we were well looked after. The room was what we now expect from Premier , clean and comfortable ,but no different from the last one we stayed at or the one before that .The adjoining pub has extensive dining and we took the £22 meal deal which includes a 3 course evening meal with drink (from a restricted menu) plus full breakfast. The latter was fresh cooked which makes a change from the warmed up efforts found in a lot of establishments nowadays.I recommend you eat early the night before so as to give dinner a chance to go down and then you will do this great breakfast the justice it deserves.

We visited this Premier Inn after our holiday as we had a late night flight. We arrived about 11pm and were dealt with very effiently and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable as always and are sufficient for our needs. We had a good breakfast in the adjacent restaurant and then left early next morning.

For the money paid this is a very good stopover before or after a flight.

On such a brief stay I was very impressed with the friendly staff ,all had welcoming smiles and a welcoming good morning greeting from all. I would like to make a special mention about the young man on reception in the morning who spent a long time trying to get me a taxi and was very happy to do so and kept us entertained while we waited and also gave us a cheery wave as we departed.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and is very clean. The bed and pillows were as advertised very very comfy so we had a great nights sleep.
I would recommend highly.

Stayed one night enroute to Bristol Airport which is a bit further away than the website suggests!A lovely old house converted to a pub restaurant with a Premier Inn attached.Friendly Staff (most of them) and great far reaching views from the terrace across the countryside towards the sea with lovely sunsets.Restaurant food was the usual churn it out with little if any Chef input but was ok and reasonably priced.
We were given room 1 which is immediately at the top of the stairs,we were disturbed constantly from 0300hrs onwards by guests, who were catching early flights, banging their luggage down the stairs to be followed by a loud bang from the reception door closing. The stairs also creak and squeak and the room smelt a bit musty and was very warm as there was no air conditioning.Other than the noise a pleasant and friendly place to stopover but avoid Room1!!
