If you like Moules, you will love this place! We first visited Chez Alain some fifteen years ago, and were delighted to see that it is still there, albeit a bit bigger and smarter.....
The restaurant specialises in moules, LOTS of moules, served with a huge variety of sauces - two pages of the menu! Almost everyone we saw had the moules, served in huge bowls, and with what is close to a washing up bowl for the "empties."
This is not "Cordon Bleu," but it is simple food served well in a buzzy atmosphere. Desserts were good too.... We were there on a Monday in May, and the place was full by eight thirty, so you need to get there early or book.
