“Beyond Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

I stayed here once with my daughter in Dec 2012 and again with my father in June of 2013.

The attention to detail in every room, the gentle kindness of the hosts, and just the overall hospitality they display as a way of life - you won`t want to leave.

After my father experienced their breakfast, I was doubtful about getting him home. He still raves about what an amazing place it was to stay.

This property is ideal for families with young children or for seniors `getting away`from it all -- including taking a welcome break from adult children. and energetic grandchildren.

They simply accommodate and have space for every single variation you can think of. An amazing place, with amazing owners.

Domaine Les Boises provides a luxurious, historic and gentle holiday experience. The hosts, fully bilingual, are gracious, attentive and discrete. The setting is absolutely stunning, both central to attractions in the area and yet remote at the same time due to the size of the property. Beautifully manicured grounds to stroll around; gardens that featured bright and beautiful blossoms as well as granite sculptures and elaborate wood carvings; a pristeen swimming pool and hot tub which we sadly did not have time to enjoy .... all this and more without ever leaving the property. The guest rooms were clean, large and comfortably furnished. The Eleanor Room even has a balcony overlooking the back garden. Our hosts provided dishes so that we could eat our dinner of local delicacies on this balcony one evening. This review would not be complete without commenting on the breakfasts - generous portions, beautifully presented, garnished with edible flowers from the garden, delicately flavoured and overall delicious! Cleanliness and service are hallmarks of Domaine Les Boises. What an amazing oasis of calm, comfort and beauty!

Room Tip: Each room is unique but all are equally beautiful and comfortable. Inquire about the size of the bed...

The facility was welcoming and accommodated our near midnight arrival. The breakfast was beyond superb. They had a pool but the timing of our stay didn't give us a chance to try it. it looked beautiful. The location was a "stone's throw" from our destination, which was a tour of the two-country opera house/library.

Great place.

This B&B is beautifully landscaped and set far back from the street, with tall, leafy trees creating a feeling of total peace and seclusion. There's a big pool to swim in, and an outdoor jacuzzi where you can relax in total privacy.

Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. They suggested a great restaurant (Le Tomiforbia on 2 Rue Elm), made reservations for us, and because we arrived on bicycles and didn't have a car, they even gave us a lift that evening to save our tired legs!

Our room was very comfortable and quiet, and a delicious breakfast of fruit, yogurt, croissants, omelettes, and toast was served the next morning.

We only stayed one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer. This would be a perfect place to kick back and relax without ever leaving the grounds!

My wife and I called the owner 1 ½ hour prior to our targeted arrival time to inquire about vacancy. Michelle told us that some rooms were available and, upon arrival, she gave us a tour of the house. Every room is tastefully appointed and large, some have a gas or electric fireplace, and all have nice bathrooms. No need to bring your hair dryer and bathrobe but bring your favourite soap, shampoo, cream, etc. A wide selection of teas and coffees is available next to the front desk to make you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and served with class. The price is more than reasonable and customer care is “a la Nordstrom”.
