“Cook your own venison!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

What a fun dinner experience.....highly recommend just amazing

Try the venison steaks, you cook them on a hot stone right on the table on your plate. Whatever you do - don't put pepper on the hot stone!

ENJOY

“Good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Easy to get too and looks like it Gould be lovely and cosy but we ended up in cold marquee. Food is very good and menu wide. Service is ok but you can't reserve a table. Not the best on the mountain.

“Le Carrefour takes a wrong turn”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

I've been a regular customer of Le Carrefour for many years now, but after my lunch there on 8 Jan I won't be going back. Yes, it has a great location and it's nice to eat outside and gaze at the view on a sunny day, but no amount of scenery makes up for poor service, arrogant staff, average cooking and mean helpings. It used to be quite "cosy" with diners closely packed around narrow tables but I didn't expect to have to negotiate with my next door neighbour to take it in turns to raise our forks to our mouths. The narrow metal chairs seem specially designed to make you hurry your lunch in order to escape the constricted discomfort. The service was terrible. The staff have perfected the art of avoiding the customer's eye or pretending they haven't seen you. When you want to pay the bill and get out it's very frustrating. In past years the big plus was the complimentary salad with every main course and lashing of delicious homemade dressing. No longer I'm sad to say. No complimentary salad and the dressing strictly rationed to those who have ordered salad. The salads themselves were pretty average and my tagliatelle was so over-cooked it was like eating water. The sauce was thin and flavourless and I ended up eating my four-year old's dish of spaghetti which was marginally more tasty and her helping was bigger than mine.
I asked the waiter at the end if he would like some feedback but he told me to go and speak to the boss. So this is my feedback for all to see: bad show Carrefour. You won't be getting my custom any more.
