The staff are brilliant but the food is lacking. The avocado and salmon starter tasted only of avocado and my husband and I ordered rump steak.Mine came in three overcooked very thin slices which looked as if they had been chopped off the end of a joint. My husband had one thicker piece and a thin slice but wasn't asked how he wanted it cooked andeven the larger piece was on the medium to well done side. The house wine was very good and the atmosphere lovely. Hopefully in the future the standard will improve as the hotel itself is super.
