We are a family of 4 (children are aged 10 & 8) who returned to the Allalin this Easter, bringing our friends and their 3 children along too.
We stayed in the same family suite both years - plenty of space and storage, with nice furniture, a fantastic bathroom, fridge etc and gorgeous views. The downstairs living area ensures our children can easily switch off after a long day whilst we can relax with a drink or watch TV.
What stands out most for us about The Allalin is the helpfulness and friendliness of not just the family who run the hotel but all the other staff too. During both holidays they went out of their way to make our ski holiday as easy and enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble.
In addition, two of our party this year cannot eat gluten- the hotel were very attentive to this; they purchased specific bread and noodles for us, and the lovely waiter was very on the ball ensuring that gluten wasnt included in any sauces etc.
We found Saas Fee to be a great little resort for skiing with children - fun blue runs for playing around on, and good reds for our older daughter.
We are hoping to return back to the Allalin ext ski season too!
