I stayed one week at Walser in November 2011. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel itself well-run although modest, but good value for money. Location excellent. Will be going back there this year.

The staff is very kind; lets start with that!
But the owner should maybe consider an update. Everythign in the room and hotel looks rather old. The rooms are rather small and the beds not too comfy. The bath area was really outdated and small. It is impossible to shower without touching the showercurtain.
There is also a very overpriced minibar in he room eventhough the hotel is on top of a supermarket.
Tips if you stay in Saas Fee: the parking garage is 15 chf a day after you get the discount because you stay in the hotel.
Also check Saas Fee tourism if you come for skiing: the area has quite strong winds which means they close all the lifts.

Nice value for money hotel. Next to the village center and very close to the cable car Alpin Express.+ There is a nice view to the mountains and the village from almost every room.
Very clean and nice breakfast.

Walser is a small hotel which benefits from being close to the village's parking garage (where you are forced to park as there are no cars in Saas Fee) and on the right side of the village for the lift station. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the lift station.

The rooms and bathrooms are functionary but spotlessly clean. Beds are just OK comfort wise. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is again typical for the type of hotel.

Basically it is a typical Swiss ski resort hotel...small, uninspiring rooms without any character but clean and it does the job. If that is what you are looking for and the convenience of location you will not be disappointed.

the impantation of the hotel is very good for a stay in the summer, near to the parking, bank, supermarket, restaurants, bus station etc,
It is very suitable for people that want to out of the croud, no restaurant in the building, that means low numbers of staff, but of exceptional quality as it fits the swiss culture...

A very well situated hotel in central Saas-Fee. Nice and clean family room with a mountain view. Reception, restaurant (breakfast) and bar at 1st floor. Employees very serviceminded. We were picked up at the parking lot at 23 p.m. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, hiking tracks and other summer activities. For children; visit the Adventure park!
