The Baer's Bistro is located inside the Hotel Pardenn Piz Buin. You can either enter directly from the street or thru the hotel's lobby. The restaurant offers simple fare such as pizza, hamburgers and pasta. There is limited seating with space at the bar as well. There is a breakfast room adjacent to the dining area, but don't know if they will open it up for dinner if it becomes too crowded. The menu was in German and English. The restaurant has a rustic feel to it like the rest of the hotel. The decor adds to the experience without becoming a distraction.
The wait staff was friendly, but for the most part left me alone. There is a full bar, with the only beer on tap being a Swiss brand. However there are various bottled beer as well. I sat at the bar, but would've preferred a table since the bar stools did not have a back in which to lean against. The bistro is also popular in the morning for people wanting a warm drink. Dogs are also allowed inside, so it was not uncommon to see them sitting next to a table.
If you are looking for a simple, averaged priced meal, Baer's Bistro is a good choice from the more formal restaurants elsewhere. I would definitely recommend it while staying in Klosters.
