Beautiful, ultra smart, small hotel. Very personal service. Nothing too much. They'll come a light your fireplace in the evening.

Room Tip: All rooms are gorgeous!

Arrived on a Friday night: the hotel picked us up from Montana Gare in a Audi A6L for the 10-15 minutes trip to the hotel. Very warm welcome, very nice property, high quality all around. Went for dinner in the restaurant twice: it was scrumptious. Breakfast was also very good: the view is breathtaking. The hotel did upgrade us thanks to Leader's Club membership.

Many good points are mentioned in the other reviews, so I'll stop here with the pros.

The cons:
* standard and superior rooms are very small - and as mentioned in another review there is a lot of stuff in the rooms (furniture, books, phones, ...). We barely could move around in superior room Chamois with our son's bed. And I am not even sure how staff manages to brings a room service table in the room.
This means you really want a suite in this hotel, which does not help the (already consequent) budget.

* this is very far from anything. Yes the hotel provides free and friendly and reliable shuttle to anywhere in the vicinity, but it's 10-15-minutes-down-the-hill-through-the-town each way...

* the above applies to skiing. The hotel advertises itself as ski-in-out and this is true: one slope is 100 meters away, slightly uphill, through a parking lot and a forest road. We were not shown the ski/boot room and its location was not obvious, but I suppose there is one nearby the car park. So it works as a ski resort, but this is not as convenient as, say, Le Melezin or Les Airelles.

* When it's busy (Friday and Sunday nights, mornings at breakfast with unlucky timing), service can be a bit slow in the restaurant.

* the home automation in the room is a nice idea but it's too sophisticated for the average hotel guest who has no time and no inclination to understand the logic. Simple on/off buttons work better. Plus the control panel and all the buttons add stuff to an already busy room.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are very small - avoid when traveling with kids Rooms Chamois, Marmotte & Ours f...

Just have a look at there pictures and it tell all. All room are uniquely decorated, public areas are fantastic, services is to the top, great restaurant with exceptional food. Try the kitchen for dinner, great experience.
Don't forget to visit the spa.
Very High End, as the price... meanwhile compared to other 5star resorts in Megève, St Moritz, or Gstaad, it's relatively cheap.

Le Crans should be your first choice if you want to experience total luxury and perfection. The resort is most aptly located and very tastefully done . Having opened in 2009 it has all the warmth, luxury, newness and technology one can ask for.A perfect blend of tradition and modern style.
Whilst the product is exceptional so is the hospitality provided by the staff, personal at the same time non intrusive.
We had a lovely time!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor room overlooking the mountains..They have the best view and great sunlight:)

Staying in Le Crans is an experience only the happy few can afford. For about 800 euro a room you get perfect rooms, perfect service, perfect food. The few rooms are more appartments with splendid mountain-views. It is 'grand', cosy and luxurious. Diner is a gastronomic delight. For people with money.

The property, which resembles a chalet, is amazing. The suite Anapurna in which we stayed was very spacious, had a huge balcony and was very well equipped (chimney, Nespresso machine, domotics, etc.). As the room was so comfortable, if it was not for taking advantage of the nearby forests to go for a walk, we could have just stayed inside enjoying the awesome view on the surrounding mountains and reading a book in full quietude.
Personnel demonstrated all the competencies expected from a 5-star hotel staff: very attentive, great capacity to anticipate client needs, present and discreet at the same time.
LeCrans is one of these hotels where one is sad when the time to depart has come and at the same time happy when thinking of the next stay.

We stayed in September at the LeCrans. It was truly a remarkable stay. The view is just wonderful and the staff was very helpful and very friendly, specially the restaurant manager!
The hotel has 15 rooms and is in a chalet style, very cosy! unfortunatly we did not have time to visit the SPA, but it looked very nice too.

no doubt we will come back in due time.
