Lulworth Cove is both breath taking and strangely mysterious almost alien with the torquoise water and dramatic rock formation. Durdel door in the mist in July looked like something out of jarassic park - all that was missing were the live dinosaurs, but with imagination they were there. The coast walk is breath taking and takes your breath away from the hills but it is so worth it, brilliant blue sky, green grass and chalk white paths and the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach you cant get closer to paradise it is hypnotic and soothing. I love Dorset and East Devon one for the lighthouses, two the fantastic walks and three because of all the fantastic villages waiting to be discovered. You have to go its a must. We stayed in Wool which was about 5 miles from Lulworth and had two weeks of cramming as much as we could into our holiday - too much to do too little time to do it in. If i could live anywhere in the country it would be in this area its unsurpassed in my opinion
