“Great hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We had a great time in Meersburg and this hotel was definitely a part of it. It is very good for a three star hotel. Make sure to book a lake view room to get the most of it.

The only negative thing I can say is that there is no AC and like in most German hotels the bedding is thicker than what I have in Sweden in the winter. So either you get toasted or you have to sleep in only the sheet. Some summer beddings would have been nice.

Otherwise breakfast was good and the service was good. We were even allowed to check in early in a German hotel!

Stayed here in April 2013 with my fiance and my grandparents. The hotel has a lift so is suitable for elderly folk. The staff spoke good English, rooms were clean, breakfast was nice. The views over the lake from the window were spectacular. Thoroughly recommend.

Good Hotel, good location. friendly and very helpful staff. The hotel and the room were very well equipped and very clean. Spectacular view from the room window. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was rich and empty plates were duly replaced. Did not have a problem with parking as we visited Meersburg during low season. Internet should be free.......

Room Tip: Room viewing the lake

Fantastic room, with balcony overlooking Bodensee. Very comfortable, superb bathroom. Excellent value for money.

Very friendly staff front of house.

Very small car park behind hotel, managed by the hotel staff (leave your keys on front desk) €5

Our only regret was not eating in the hotel restaurant, which we will surely do when we return.

Room Tip: We had one of the small "suites" with the lake views. Fantastic value when compared to UK...

My wife & I stayed here for 1 night in September & were very pleased with our experience there. It's location on the lake is beautiful. It is also very convenient for walking around the town. The hotel & our room was modern & clean. Free breakfast & internet service included in the price but we found the internet service a little inconsistent. Parking is a short distance away & 5 euro/night. Very good place to spend a night.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

My wife and I stayed for one night on 5 September 2013 and yet again a Flair hotel maintained the high standard we've coming to expect from this chain of hotels. A slight downside was that parking was advertised on site but we found it was not the case as it was a fair walk from the hotel to a public car park and by the time we arrived in mid afternoon the car park was practically full and we only just managed to find a space.

The hotel is situated overlooking the Bodensee and our superior double room had splendid views of the lake. The room was very clean, well decorated and spacious. The ensuite was on the small side with no bath. The hotel was spotless throughout and the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Some dinner tables were laid out on the terrace and one can't book as it is open to non-residents, so we ate in the dinning room alone. In order to ensure a more romantic feel the waiter obligingly turned down the lights. The food was very good with very large portions. Breakfast was good but by 9.30am the scrambled egg had run out and was not replaced. While the cheeses were covered the meats were not and as I have said elsewhere in my reviews, the flies got there first. But overall worth staying at this typical Flair hotel.

We stayed in the Zeppelin Suite for the last night of our vacation. Amazing views, service and location. After a week in the Alps we wished we had stayed here longer. We had our 5 year old and 2 year old with us and were very comfortable.
