“Cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

I'm not especially interested in cars and I did not really know what an Audi was before I studied abroad in Ingolstadt. I took the tour and it was cool and interesting. Even for someone who is not really into cars.

The Audi museum is a great trip through history of Audi. This is a must for enthusiasts.
We enjoyed the old cars and race cars displayed.

“A "must-see" for Audi fans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

While in Munich on business I took a side trip to Ingolstadt to see Audi world headquarters. Although I didn't have a reservation, I was fortunate that they had spots available for the tour that was beginning shortly. Our group consisted of people from all over the world, and was conducted in English. If you have an interest in Audi, it's definitely worth a few hours. Everyone says there's a lot of walking, and they're not lying. It's a huge facility, employing 37,000 people. Seeing the cars being assembled was really fascinating. After the factory tour, I went across the plaza to the museum. If you look closely in and around the plaza you'll see some amazing cars, some of which (RS6 Avant, cool!) aren't even available in the states. The museum is four floors, arranged top to bottom from the early 1900s to today. Start at the top if you're going through without a guide. Really terrific examples of Audi cars, racing cars, and motorcycles from their past. Truly a must-see for an Audi owner.

“Outstanding Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

The Museum is located at Audi AG Global Headquarters in Ingolstadt. The display includes the complete history of Audi with fine examples of their bikes and autos including "the Rally years". Tours of the Audi Factory are available in German and English. A tour is a must but must be reserved ahead of time. See the manufacture of an Audi from start to ignition. Superb.

“If you find yourself in the small Bayern/Bavarian village of Ingolstadt ... visit the home of Audi!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Well organized. Professional guides ... some interesting historical information .... but if you are really interested in manufacturer ... get yourself a reservation to visit the AUDI factory at the same sight. Amazing robotics .... 300 +- robots doing the job along side 300 manual experts putting together 1500 varied Audis per day ... on a 24 hour shift 5 days a week. Amazing! They make a great coffee in the bar that´s open to the public as well!
