Our overall experience at this hotel was positive - the customer service was attentive and friendly, the breakfast was provided with care in an open, bright, clean space.
Unfortunately I found the bed in our room to be too hard for my comfort. The bathroom seemed quite new and attractive, but the shower was so small you could hardly turn around (and I am of average size and weight). Furthermore, using the in-shower storage shelf unit was frustrating to use - the shelves were too short to hold my items and it was mounted high and in a corner, making it awkward to access.
The room was nice - quite large, furnished in a modern style with a newer TV and some wardrobes for clothes storage. There was some city- and church-related noise. We did not have any issues with the room being too light, there are exterior shutters that you can adjust to block out the light.
At the time of our stay the bar and restaurant were closed. I don't know what the circumstances are, but the spaces that formerly served as the bar and restaurant looked nice.
