We went there as a family having looked at the reviews on trip advisor. The camp site is well appointed, clean, and conscientiously maintained. The static caravans are the largest and latest models, and the site can accommodate tents, touring caravans, and mobile homes. Pets are welcome. There are ample places for electrical hookup. The shower and toilet blocks are busy but clean and there are sufficient facilities for you not to have to queue for too long, if at all. The cost of £46 pounds per night for a pitch with electric hookup is comparatively expensive. However, the location is nothing short of spectacular. My daughter and I had a very memorable evening picking fresh mussels from the rocks on the private beach and cooking them right out of the water in a little wine and garlic. Amazingly fresh, fantastic memory to cherish. It is a very family orientated site with a park for the kids and they are safe to cycle or wander around the site as the walking speed requirement for vehicles is strictly and aggressively enforced. In short, expensive but well worth it. Book early as its so popular that at certain times they are full to capacity.
