An outstanding property. We learned St Barths pretty well on this trip and were absolutely convinced that this was the best possible choice. It is on the beach, with rooms set privately on a small overlooking hill. The rooms are large and decorated simply but beautifully, with a great shower and top of the line furnishings. The location is in a quiet section of the island, down a winding path but within 5 minutes of Gustavia, the airport and anything really else that you might want to do. The staff was lovely throughout. The restaurant is quite expensive but looks right out at the ocean and the food was very good there. As it was off season, there were only a few rooms filled and so the restaurant was underutilized. Next door is Isle de France which also looked lovely and the two hotels share a gorgeous corner of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Reviews for this place are glowing and likely from seasoned travelers of high expectation. All of those expectations were met and I'm pleased to add my own glowing review to the others.
