1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

We have been camping at Logosland for 3 years now this is the worst trip ive had. Againts my better judgement we decided to spend an entire week there in the RV spaces, the kids enjoy the dock jumping, frog catching and petting farm. The pittiful petting farm has been reduced to a couple of donkeys and goats. All of the washrooms are very dirty and grimey, the customer service is horriable, with no firewood deleries during the week, no pump out service for anyone staying for an extended amount of time, and no staples food at the "store" so if you run out or forget something it means a trip into Renfrew. All activities are very expensive for the poor conditions of everything, slides are run down, the grounds are dirty, the play structures are extremly unsafe, but they did buy new paddle boats. Life guards are on a power trip and dont pay attention to the sliders, they were even playing a game of charades on their posts while "supervising" me/us on the slides. There is no one on site after 8:00, so when a bunch of rowdy teenagers got out of control there was no one to call for assistance. We wont be back

We booked a room here due to lack of closer options to the white water rafting site on short notice. The one bedroom motel suite was $165 for the night which is a lot BUT, then again, it really is a quaint one bedroom apartment - one queen bed and a pull out couch in the living room. Everything looks new - no weird motel smell.

Not that it's an issue, or a bad thing but I didn't realize when booking that it is a faith based environment so depending on the person or family this may or may not be relevant. As a woman legally married to another woman, I was just nervous since a lot of faith based groups don't typically support gay marriage. Having said that, there was nothing about being here that justified any of my fretting. It was a clean, calm and welcoming place to be and only about a 20 minute drive to the rafting resorts.

We rented a RV here for the long weekend. It was definitely luxury camping. The RV was very clean and spacious. My husband loved the sound system that is hooked up to the outside porch. Though the RV rental is much more expensive vs. the camping option we chose it for the convenience of the bathroom with our 2 year old. It also had the bonus of a BBQ, TV, chairs, kitchen with fridge and microwave, and a/c. The RV was steps to everything and the kids had the best time on the water slides, at the beach, water trampolines and paddle boats. I think I need a vacation after my vacation for how busy we were. We will definitely come back next year.

We stayed for 1 night in a cabin on the lake. Great location. But for 125 CAD plus tax you'd expect the place to at least be clean. OK, so it was just after a holiday weekend but there was litter everywhere, the toilets and showers were neglected and mucky. At the waterpark area the tables were sticky and the girl we saw going into the toilets with a mop was clearly just going through the motions. There was no-one to report this to - apparently no-one in charge. You can't blame the students at the desk who are clearly not responsible. So although the kids enjoyed the waterslides and lake, all-in-all for us it was a big disappointment. And the place has such potential! With a bit of effort it could be a really nice place to stay.

Room Tip: The cabins on the lake have a great view

We camp here for the long weekend almost every year, we have noticed some upgrades however the washrooms/showers near the seasonal sites are old and all of the facilities are not cleaned often, they need to really have someone cleaning then a few times a day rather then just in the early moring before the rush. Change rooms for the waterslide areas are actually washrooms. Tent camping area is nice lots of trees for protection from the early morning sun, however the power outlet is at the far end of the lot close to the road so make sure to bring a long power cord.Beach is wonderful, sand area is clean and raked every morning, dock jumping was the best, water is clean. You can swim out to the middle of the lake and just relax as there are no power boats on the lake. Biggest issuse is there is no one on site and no emergency number to call if something happens overnight last staff leaves at 11:00PM and no one is back until about 7:00AM, we found this out after another camper decided to play their music at 2:00AM until 4:00AM

This was our second time at Logos Land. It is a close drive from our cottage and we thought it would be a nice way to spend the day. The slides are fun and the kids enjoy the thrill. Great kiddie splash area and fun, but not maintained mini-put. The lake is man-made, but spring-fed. It was warm, but quite weedy. They have water trampolines which are fun. You need to wear the provided life jackets if you don't have your own, but most of them are quite used and torn. Need to be replaced. The paddle boats are also fun, but they too need a facelift or need to be replaced. The biggest beef was with the bathrooms and change facilities. They are so dirty and so old. Considering the number of people that visit there, I'm sure they make enough profit to justify spending the money to overhaul the bathroom facilities! There is only one shower which is always cold and the change facilities is a bench in the bathroom area for all to see while you try to change discreetly. There are only four toliets which were dirty and one of them was plugged and not fixed the whole time we were there. Although the kids enjoyed the waterpark, I don't think we'll be going back. The rest of it is a big turn-off. Please update and clean, clean, clean and we will gladly give it another try!

Day park is very dirty, tables not cleaned and gummy with old food. We picked up old bottles and garbage from under picnic tables. Not very clean especially for little children. There is no swimming pool, only small shallow pool at the bottom of slides and you get booted out of them if you try and wade in them. They are for sliders only, just quick in/out. A few animals in cages but it is a very long walk to get to them with small children.
