Nine of us went to this restaurant over half term after reading positive reviews. It looked fab when we arrived, lively music, great decor, attentive service, and we were really looking forward to a splash-out meal. However the food was a real letdown. It looked good, but tasted awful. The pasta dishes came in funky kilner jars, but were tasteless and cold in patches, so obviously microwaved. The smiles dried up somewhat when we asked for them to be re-heated. No apologies, and it was returned without cutlery, which we then had to ask for three times. The Alpine staple - the tartiflette - was dry and small. Portions were generally very mean. We were charged for a side salad we didn't order (9 euros). The kids shared an adult dish and were charged 4 euros as a 'sharing supplement'. The wine waiter opened the bottle out of sight and dumped it on the table without letting us taste it first. No tap water available. All in all a disappointing experience.
