“Simply the best”

This is my second booking with Chris and Beth but first in Chalet Adventure and as with this first experience we were delighted with the individual attention received, from the meeting at the airport to accommodating us prior to our late evening departure. Nothing disappointed. My teenage son and his friend were made very welcome and there was enough in chalet entertainment for their needs. They particularlarly enjoyed the hot tub and large chocolate fudge cake.
A special thanks must go to Lou the manager, guide, driver, chef etc who made our few days exceptionally enjoyable by her enthusiasm , great guiding and fun spirit.
I note the comments below about security. There is now a coded door entry system and I believe a secuity camera at the front door.
Thank you Chris and Beth for such wonderful hospitality, food and personalised service.

Room Tip: If you specify your needs to Chris and Beth they will do their best to accomodate these

This was the second time we have stayed at Chalet Adventure. We first stayed in March and had a fantastic time snowboarding, this time we were there for the mountain bike scene.
The transfer from the airport takes just over an hour and the transport booked for us was great with enough room for us and our 4 bikes.
Beth met us on arrival and had already sorted our lift passes which was really helpful and saved us the hassle. Despite it being late she took the time to discuss possible trails for us to try the next day which was appreciated and saved us wasting time!
Throughout our week there both Chris and Beth were really helpful regarding routes and trails, Beth helped us book canyoning and also drove us and our bikes to a village near Chatel. Chris took us on a great cross country route on our last day and ensured we got some great holiday photos en route!
Food-wise there was plenty of choice at breakfast and more than enough to fill the hungriest of us. The evening meals were excellent, again we ate far far too much and said we'd cycle it off....... There is also afternoon cake available if you can find space for it!
The chalet is lovely, really comfortable and clean. We had the downstairs rooms on this trip but have also stayed in the top floor rooms, all good- no complaints about any of them!
Les Gets is a small place but we loved it! It has plenty of bars, restaurants and even a nightclub... it is a ten minute walk/five minute cycle from the chalet to the centre/main chair lift, there is a free bus in winter.
We would thoroughly recommend Chalet Adventure and the hospitality of Chris and Beth- so much so we are back in March!

Room Tip: All the rooms are good, it just depends on the number of people with you! The loft rooms are smaller...

Chris and Beth are wonderful hosts. Meeting us at the airport made for a very easy beginning to our trip and was just the start of their great hospitality. The chalet is very comfortable and well located. We were on a mountain bike trip and had safe storage for our bikes plus only a short ride to the lifts. The highlight was the day we spent being guided by Chris around the Tour de Portes du Soleil on a beautiful blue sky day. It was everything I had hoped for in a mountain bike trip to the Alps!

We stayed at Chalet Aventure as a large family group having sole use for our two week stay.
Chris and Beth were very welcoming and provided us with lovely food and an excellent knowledge of the local area, together with transport for transfers and activities.

The big downside to our stay was that two days before we left, three iPads were stolen from two of the rooms whilst we were out.

With hindsight, perhaps we should have ensured that there were keys to all the rooms and that they were kept locked in our absence. We were surprised (as were the police) that more items weren't taken, including a car and various other expensive items.

We really weren't expecting to be victims of a theft during a stay that on the whole was positive. Les Gets is a lovely village, Chalet Aventure is a lovely place to stay, Beth and Chris are perfect hosts, but we won't be returning.

We would recommend that those staying at Chalet Aventure do not leave valuables unsecured and to check that their travel insurance covers them sufficiently, which, unfortunately, ours didn't.
Hopefully, the chalet's security has been reviewed since our visit following what was and still is a very upsetting experience for all concerned.

We were devastated by the robbery from our Chalet and extremely upset how this incident affected what had been a lovely, relaxed & fun family holiday up until this point. The actions of the person/persons who committed this theft were totally selfish with the resulting emotional damage impacting our guest’s holiday on an unimaginable degree. We take safety and security seriously with this being the first and hopefully last theft that any of our guests will experience. It appears to have been a one off raid on several Chalets in the village with the perpetrators knowing exactly what they wanted. As a result we now offer all our guests room keys if required, we have a safe deposit box for any small items our guests want secured away, we have changed and upgraded the key lock and garage lock to make them even more secure and we are looking to install CCTV in the entrance area as a deterrent to any would be thieves. Please also note we have a dog who acts as a good deterrent barking at strangers and we are in a safe area with neighbours watching over our property. Being a Chalet/Hotel it is hard to offer a full proof security system with all the comings and goings of guests, in 10 years this is the only theft we have had, and hopefully the last. Finally we express again our sympathy to this family. We do everything we can to ensure our guests have a wonderful and enjoyable holiday.

having stayed previously for a winter ski trip and being not too far away visiting friends in France already, it was a no brainer to call Beth and Chris to see if there was accomodation available for the weekend to allow us to extend our break and get some biking in.

All details were arranged with ease from booking to payment, the family apartment was perfect for our two young boys (4 and 11 months) and use of the upstairs lounge to put childrens dvd's on when it all got to much was greatly appreciated, as was loan of a three wheeler buggy.

having Chris take me out for a tour of the whole resort by bike with two other guests was also fantastic

a really friendly experiance all round

From the moment we arrived at Geneva, Chris & Beth could not do enough for us. Within minutes into the transfer Chris was giving us great info and advice on the trails, bike set up, 'must rides'. Arriving we were met with coffee and cake - always a winner! The food was of a great standard and always served with smiles and genuine interest in where we had ridden, who had crashed etc! The town of Les Gets is small but there is enough to satisfy a night or two out (after a top dinner of course!), Morzine offers more in terms of shopping. The trails are simply brilliant; if you are after more technical, off piste riding then use Chris' knowledge and guiding as there are so many non-marked local trails that are epic! Although we rode on 5" trail bikes (which easily coped), I would really recommend wearing a full face helmet and knee/elbow pads if only for the sheer speed and hardness of the trails.

We will definitely be booking another trip with Rush Adventures and that is all down to the great, friendly welcome and service we got from Chris & Beth - thanks guys!

Room Tip: ground floor room sleeps 4 (2 single, 1 bunk) - absolutely perfect for a lads MTB trip!
