Shortish transfer from Geneva. Traditional town with a variety of eating places and accommodation. Good Carrefour in centre of town plus usual food shops you'd expect in French towns. Express 6 man chair + gondola from centre of town. Two other starting points at end of town. One serves South facing slopes which we didn't use but were recommended. Ski school meeting place very close to gondola . Ski hire place held our skis and boots overnight which, which two young children, was brilliant. No carrying stuff around town. Good selection of Blues and Reds and some good collection of lifts close to one another giving you choices in which direction you went when arriving down in a bowl. Easy to get to Morzine which is as far as we went but it looked trickier to get across to Avoriaz etc. Everyone very friendly and no issues speaking English for us too lazy to learn another language. Next year I'll have a few more words. Yeah, right. Loved this place for young families. Did not queue once, which, given it was Easter week, although the French children weren't on holiday, was great.
