“Wonderful Memories from Les Gets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We have never been on a shared-chalet adventure before, and were hugely impressed by the experience. As a family of 5 we had a great time being pampered by hostess Amelia over four great days at the end of the ski season, and also socialising with the other chalet residents who were on their own short break adventures. Joe took us out on some great blue and red runs all round the Les Gets and Morzine valleys.

The chalet is one of many managed by 'Reach 4 the Alps' and we would certainly recommend both the chalet and the experience offered by the company to others, and we would definitely consider doing it again.

We have just returned from our second visit in this chalet, the first was in summer on a non catered basis, we loved the chalet and location so much we booked for the ski season, what an added bonus to have this fantastic chalet catered by the brilliant Amelia, everything you could want, food and the wine are excellent.
We have booked for 2 weeks in summer and hope to book Amelia to cater for us a couple of times while we are there

Everything is so easy staying at this chalet which is exactly what you want in a ski trip. Great food and hospitality with some great additional touches like free guiding (brilliant), canapés on two nights, beer fridge and a hot tub!

Les Gets and this chalet are perfect for a short break. Short transfers, easy access to ski hire next door and of course the amazing runs in Les Gets and Morzine! A pass upgrade also opens up the Porte du Soleil, perfect for longer stays. Big thanks to the owners and hosts Amelia and Joe in particular for hosting so well! Will come again!

After skiing for a number of years I have never been to a better located chalet or received such an amazing service as we have had at Chalet Allouette and from Amelia! The chalet is lovely and close to all the amenities you need but what made our trip truely exceptional was having our host Amelia. She is bright, bubbly, professional and a great laugh to be around.... And that doesn't take into account her fab cooking! Defo coming again and highly recommend!

Can't rate this place highly enough - good value, excellent food, right beside ski lift and ski hire shop. Private locker with sauna and (ahem!) hot tub - and excellently hosted by our chef Amelia who catered and cooked most gracefully for 8 lads straight in from the Apres - Ski.

I recently stayed at a chalet in Les Gets care or Reach 4 The Alps. Ours was a short ski trip of just 4 days. There were 10 of us and we were all made to feel very much at home as soon as we arrived. Our hosts were Amelia and Joe and they were consistently friendly, polite, helpful and always on hand to answer our questions and give us tips ranging from best places to ski to best bars to meet at for apres-ski. The food was fantastic, the wine plentiful and the chalet was perfectly suited to our needs: clean, spacious, opposite the ski-hire shop, a 3 minute walk to the first ski lift and it had its own hot tub. I highly recommend Reach 4 the Alps and look forward to holidaying with them again.

Room Tip: There was 1 room with bunk beds which would not have been my choice but it did allow 10 of us to sha...

Very clean chalet, food was superb. Chalet is at the bottom of the chair lift so couldn't be easier to get on the slopes, and the ski hire shop is just next door! Very child friendly and lots of space.
