Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights monday - friday and have the following observations :
1. Staff = very friendly, the majority of which spoke English
2. Bedroom = Very very clean, fresh towells everyday, 3 beds in a decent sized room, plenty of closet space, hairdryer & safe & tv in room , no kettle. Toilet is seperate to your bathroom.
3. Ski lockers = At ground level reachable by lift or stairs - you are given a key on check in - very very convinient.
4. 10% discount for guests for ski hire at Chalvin sports.
5. Food - only had breakfast in hotel which was of a very high standard - parma ham, salami , boiled eggs, toast, french bread, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juices, pain au chocolat - tea, coffee & hot chocci . Staff again very friendly.
6. Bar - only had hot chocci late at night which the bartender made up and brought to us in the lounge in front of the log fire - lovely hot chocci with biscuits and chocolate and only 8euros for 2 cups each.
7. Just b4 you reach the hotel - 30 second walk is a lovely restaurant - fantastic food mostly which you cook at your own table, very intimate with candles and log fire.
8 Convinience - ski in and ski out facility - the green run down at the end of the day is pretty dangerous as very narrow and icy with lots of loose rocks, people of a high standard were really struggling - your best bet to get back would be to get the chailift back down which is right next to the hotel of the main Jandri gondola which is about a 5 min walk.
9. Creperie - best one in town is "crepe a go go" - lovely ambience and great flambed crepes.
Overall = a lovely experience at this hotel - it is intimate, individualistic and warm and friendly - we would have no problem recommending this hotel to others and bearing in mind last year we had honeymoon suites at both the Bellagio in Las Vegas and the Banff Springs in Banff then this indeed is a glowing recommendation for this hotel
