Lobby and reception are nice and modern. Service was friendly but distant. The first thing we saw when entering the room was the carpet-which was full of stains. Disgusting. Bed and sofabed were ok for one night. Bathroom was clean but the towels had holes.
An economical one night stop-over on the way to the south of France means you can resist the lower level of quality and comfort, but for a longer stay I would not recommend the hotel.

Stayed in Novotel Ferney for 4 nights to be lose to geneva. Staff were pleasant especially in bar and breakfast place. Reception staff have too much to do. Checking in and out was slow because too few staff. Checking out on Sunday morning which must be a busy check out time there was only 1 person at reception. Nothing is more annoying than when halfway through checkout the receptionist has to answer customer enquiries. Finishes one call then another comes in and the checking out guests just standing there waiting and waiting. Also the hotel is showing its age.

Avoid staying here if you are flying out on one of the 25 international flights or so scheduled to leave before about 8.30 hours. The first hotel shuttle at 6.30 leaves too late for a safe connection. To call this an airport hotel is a deceipt. If you are unfortunate enough to be booked into an early flight you need to pay a taxi fare of 35 Euros. The senior hotel manager was unhelpful and rude when it was suggested that an airport hotel offering a shuttle should be more flexible and that a taxi should have been provided free of charge. Otherwise the food was good and rooms comfortable. I have stayed in many Novotels and this was my first bad experience.
