“Sweet family-run hotel in the city centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

Located right in the centre of Manosque, this family-run hotel really convinced us! Free parking right next to the hotel (once you understand the system it's easy ;) and the owners of this historic building were amazingly lovely and supportive and helped out wherever they could and always had time for a short chat.
The rooms, all designed differently, are extremely clean and we felt really comfortable there. Although you're right in the centre, it was really quiet at night.
Manosque is especially great if you're out to visit the lavendula fields on the Valensole-plateau, which is a mere 30min-drive from the city (or the l'Occitane factory that's right in Manosque).
Enjoy, we'll come back, for sure.

The hotel is on a traffic- free street so very quiet.
Although the entry and corridors are a little dingy don't be put off: our room was recently decorated (and a large room too) and very clean.
The hotel is well situated for the town and restaurants and Monsieur and Madame are very welcoming and most obliging.
Excellent value too.
If you are arriving by train note that the station is a long way from the town centre and you may want a taxi We used a reliable taxi service four times during our stay- Alix Nathalie Et Jean-Pierre - 06 07 65 28 47

Small hotel in the center of the old town round the corner of a big square with parking possibilities. Narrow streets, Restaurants nearby. Clean room, colourful renovated and nicely furnished with new flatscreen TV. Bathroom a bit shabby as the rest of the hotel. Lot of noise in the bathroom. You could hear other people showering and water flushing through the pipes from other bathrooms. Wifi-Internet didn't work in the room on the 3rd floor only in the hall.
Owner friendly but doesn't speak english (typically french). 10 minutes walk to the bus station, at least 20 minutes to the train station outside the city. Breakfast (like always in France) overpriced. Better go to one of the Cafés nearby. High prices in August like everywhere.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was very central, with free parking just behind the hotel. There were all kinds of restaurants and bakeries in a ten minute walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and provided everything you need. They were very clean. The only down point was that there was no A/C. The pair who owned the hotel was very charming and helpful, we will come back!

We stayed here a total of four nights in two lots.

Manosque and this hotel are a great base for a cycling holiday on the beautiful Luberon en velo.

The hotel is simple and friendly and excellent value. It is perfectly situated in town but just off the encircling boulevards.

The owners are very helpful and our bikes were safely stored in a locked store right off reception.

We were very happy here

You're not spoilt for choice when looking for a hotel in Manosque, but I struck lucky with this place. It's not very prepossessing on the outside and the hallway is rather dingy-looking, but my room was lovely, newly refurbished, clearly just redone. The location is great, right in the middle of town and the hotel was excellent value for money. The people who run it lovely, very helpful and friendly.
