We spent one night in Calais on our way between Caen and Bruges. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Calais.
The room was very small and was the same size you would expect from a hotel in Paris. I would have expected bigger in Calais.
The hotel is close to a number of restaurants and bars. This was the problem. There is a very noisy bar across the street and the streets were filled with noisy people. We hardly slept at all. We were lucky it was only a Thursday night. I am sure the weekends are worse.
The hotel manager was very nice about it and asked us to be his guests for another night. I would not stay there again.
