“Restful and peacefull overnite stop.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We stayed over night on our way back from the South of France to relax before getting the Euro tunnel the following morning.
Good location and quiet. We had a clean spacious room with friendly staff.
Easy parking.
Resturant expensive though.
Not sure why the swimming pool doesn't open untill 5pm seems a bit strange.

off the ferry. Had booked this hotel and it lived up to expectations! Friendly receptionist was very welcoming. Not many restaurants within walking distance so we booked a table in the restaurant. Excellent food and service. Hard to fault and would go back without hesitation. Good place to start our tour.

Myself, and my daughter and her family, stopped at this hotel on a room only basis, on the way home from south west France via Disneyland. The double room, bathroom I had to myself was large and very clean as were the rest of the public areas. We did not have breakfast so I can not comment on that. The location is ideal for the channel tunnel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stopped at this hotel twice. On the evening after the ferry crossing from Dover and on the evening before the return two weeks later. The location is ideal for either the ferry, ten minutes or the tunnel even closer. Easy to find, a minute from the motorway but quiet and with lots of parking. Staff were friendly and rooms and facilities were typical of a modern spacious top of the range Holiday Inn.
Small comfortable bar. We ate in the restaurant both nights. The first night the meal was excellent, the second we had the same courses as a fortnight earlier, they had been that good. Unfortunately neither main was up to the same standard, perch and gnocchi overcooked. But the other courses and service were equally as good.
Breakfast was very good with a selection of hot and cold choices.
We would stay here again.

After a tiring road trip we were so glad to find this hotel before going back to UK the following day .
The hotel is situated in a calm and pleasant park , the room is very comfy and if we could we would have taken the king size bed with us back home.
Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy all the facilities that the hotel offer , swimming pool, sauna , spa and even a cute little pub/bar,
all of them looking impeccably maintained.
We highly recommend this place.

This is a great hotel. It's really close to the tunnel and that makes a huge difference when you arrive from the UK looking for your hotel and suddenly have to drive on the wrong side of the road!! The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the tunnel and easy to find.

When I arrived I was impressed with the size and comfort of the hotel. It's much nicer than most Holiday Inn's in England. The bar is decorated in the style of an Olde England Pub with low lighting, very cozy.

The restaurant is open plan but the food is very good. I don't say this lightly (see previous reviews). I had duck pate followed by steak and both courses were exceptional (a LOT of garlic but when in France...!!!)

This hotel cares a lot about the quality and the presentation of it's food. When I ordered a glass of champagne it was delivered with two marshmallow skewers!! Amazing!!

My room was very comfortable. There was a LOT of English television channels on the TV and I didn't pay very much for this really great hotel experience. I will definitely stay here again.

It's a 3 mins from the tunnel and easy to find. Service has always been friendly and theres an okay restaurant and cosy bar....that sells beer in pint pots. It's a 10 mins drive from Calais. Historically I used the holiday inn at folkestone but now prefer to cross to Calais for the better value offered here.
