The ambience is fitting and calming with warm yellow painted walls and colourful decor. The food was fantastic and the wine was just as fine. It is a small, two-story old building and has its certain personal charm that will never fail to bring a pleasant upward tilt to the lips to certain people. With good company and well-chosen drinks, it would be the perfect evening out.
Except when it comes to the end of the evening and you have to pay.
With cash, there is no problem. However, when we had tried to pay with card, which was posted outside as acceptable, the machine failed to fulfill its duty we had to go through the embarrassment of standing there like fools. Later on, we found out that this is a regular occurrence as advised by the waitress in the restaurant and the receptionist in our hotel.. The restaurant failed to fulfill its duty towards its costumers and has been a real damper on our mood of the evening.
Our advice: take cash with you!
