12.50 euro for the parking. 12 euro the swimming pool. Why while we pay the hotel like 129 euros per night! Hotel was ok though but next time I'll park my car outside. And Tvs on first floor are so bad!! They're changing them now I guess. But started by 4th floor. Anyhow a bit expensive. But not bad ;)

Dear ATATOUILLE,

By answering our questionnaire, you have taken the time to give us your opinion about your stay in our hotel, and we thank you.

Our hotel being located in the city center, it is a real benefit to offer our guests a car park secured and watched 24h/24. This service is of course on demand of the guest.

Regarding our TVs, the facilities continue in order to offer a new digital package which would be available this week in all the rooms.

I hope you will enjoy this new service during your next trip to Epinal.

Looking forward to welcoming you soon.

Regards,

The hotel is located in town. the front desk staff were kind and courteous. the check-in was smooth and quick. the lifts are very small(strange!!!) which will give you feeling that you are staying in a budget hotel.

The room was spacious and the bed was nice and comfortable. Need bit of skill to park the car in the parking area at the hotel.

Breakfast was reasonable, not a lot of options but seems ok for that price.

You can roam around the town from the hotel by walk.

Lots of restaurants are nearby at walkable distance from hotel. Tried french, italian and Mediterranean style foods. there is a tiny hill and you can go there if you fancy long walk.

Disadvantage:
No power socket near bed. so you can't work in a laptop for a long time by sitting in bed

This is definately the nicer hotel in Epinal. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, quiet. A tad pricey, decor very dated. I've stayed here 21 days this year and will be returning in September for 10 more. I've learned to jump at making the reservations because I prefer this hotel - it can book up. The location is a short walk to the downtown restaurants. One hint - do not park in the covered parking unless you have to, it is 12 E a day and a major pain to park in... I think it was sized for Yugos. Park across the street for free (between 7pm and 8 am, IIRC).

I really enjoyed this hotel; great staff. Avoid the breakfast, it is over-priced for what is provided. Go down the street to one of the bakeries for cheaper and better. That said the hotel is somewhat convenient to the train station, but if hauling luggage the cobble stones give your hands a beating. And it is a slight grade uphill as you head the three block of so distance. That said the accomodations were more than adequate and the staff was excellent.

After check in I went to my room and the room was occupied by somebody else!!!
Front desk person only smiled and say I am sorry. She changed me to a different room but gave me the key without re-programming it. I asked to reprogramm it and she did finally.

The hotel is well located about 500m from the old town and provides on-site parking (for a charge). The room was basic or reasonable size (we had superior, so maybe standard would be small) but very clean. The hotel staff we 're helpful giving us a brief overview of what was happening in Epinal over the weekend when checking in. Epinal itself is ok, it has a variety of reasonable restaurants, shops and bars but don't expect a big metropolis - its a good stop over in my view if going on to explore the lovely Vosges region. We did not have breakfast so can't comment on food, also the hotel has a swimming pool which again we did not try.
