Having read the other reviews, I nearly didn't revisit our old faithful on this trip but thank goodness I did. Don't these moaners know the difference between straightforward, good, fresh ingredients being simply and freshly cooked and pretentious fuss. No 'boil in the bag' here. The staff know their food and do the job they are trained for which is not gushing over customers but seeing that your orders are taken, explaining anything you don't understand and dealing with any changes with polite correctness, no questions asked. Our dish of the day was well priced and excellent and the shared 'Assiette le Pied' starter, fabulous. We went back several times.
