“Friendly people but facilities a bit basic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

The people running this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself a bit basic, but it is after all only a two star hotel. The location is very quiet and tranquil. It's a bit of a hike to the beach, but not very far to the port. There is a nice big pool you can use but in the first week of August it was pretty busy, as the hotel shares it with the residential development around the tennis club, I am sure it would be better in any month other than August!

I was bit wary about the rep of this hotel before I checked in but felt comfy afterwards. The hotel being run by a family and they are there to offer. The man of the house 'Laurence' speaks practical English which is an added advantage in Cap d'Agde. Swimming pool, tennis court and all other facilities on offer are very clean and accessible. I enjoyed my stay there thoroughly and wouldn't think twice before recommend it to my friends...

This is a very good hotel run by a very friendly and efficient husband and wife management team. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel from giving you your favourite type of room to ensuring the free wifi works correctly to giving you brilliant local restaurant recommendations.
Great location although a car is useful in a quiet area of the resort but very close to everything you need.
Merci Laurent!

We received a warm welcome from this husband and wife team. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is situated outside of the naturist area but is still close enough that you can visit if you wish to.

We joined friends last Monday and met at this hotel. The welcome was excellent as were the facilities and the ambiance. The rooms were bright and cheerful and well equipped. Good beds, clean room, fresh towels each morning + a simple but very tasty breakfast on traditional French style.
The owners were lovely and they were extremely helpful - pointed us in the right direction for eating out etc.

Overall an excellent stay.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back with a small terrace. Overlooking the trees and the side of the swimming p...

This is a very nice basic hotel that should appeal not only to tennis players but to general visitors to Cap d'Agde and those who want to visit the famed naturist quarter. The hotel is set back on a side street off the main road, so you have to know it's there, although there is a small sign advertising its presence. It was originally built as part of Cap d'Agde's Tennis Village, a complex of condominium apartments, 23 tennis courts, and an international tennis center, where I took several good lessons from the resident pro. It is a small hotel, with about two dozen larger-than-average rooms, bright decor, modern en-suite bathrooms, in-room safes, air conditioning, and a rectangular pool outdoors behind the building. It's about a ten-minute drive to the main port and shops of Cap d'Agde and a five-minute drive to the naturist village and beach (I rented a bike to get around -- much cheaper than a rental car!). Jacques and Martine Graff are the hosts and managers; they speak enough English to get visitors oriented, and they are most helpful and friendly. If you have a laptop, free high-speed Internet service is available in the rooms on request. A good breakfast buffet is available for an additional fee (8 euros when I was there), and a menu in the room offered several choices for dinner, although I did not eat there. Although it's not a naturist hotel, it's less expensive and has better availability during high season than the hotels inside the Quartier Naturiste, and it's easy to visit this area, with its huge beach, thousands of nudists, restaurants, clubs, and shopping areas on an inexpensive day pass, as long as you arrive by 8:00 PM. Recommended!

  • Liked — Proximity to tennis, beach and naturist village
  • Disliked — Can be difficult to find
